CBD Vape UK – A Closer Look At Our Vape Products

Since launching our new full spectrum CBD vape range to the UK market, we have had a few emails asking for further information about the products. In this article, we will go into a bit more detail to clear up any doubts you may have.

The CBD Vape Products

CBD Vape Pen

The new range consists of two main products – the CBD vape pen/battery (pictured above) and the vape cartridges (pictured below) to be used with the pen.

CBD Vape Carts

The vape pen is charged by screwing it onto the USB adapter and then simply plugging it into a USB port. The USB adapter will show a red or orange light when charging, and then a green light when fully charged.

Once charged, remove the caps from each end of the CBD Vape Cart, and screw it onto the end of the pen. Once that is done you simply need to inhale through the tip of the cartridge to begin vaping.

The technical specs for the pen are:

  • C1 Battery
  • 3.7 Volts
  • 510 Thread
  • 1h Charge. Red light = charging, green light = fully charged.
  • Lifetime charges: approx 300.

The carts (cartridges) contain only full-spectrum distillate and plant-derived terpenes, free from unwanted additives like PG and MCT Oil.

Full-spectrum distillate is a type of hemp extract that has been refined to remove most of the plant matter while retaining a wide range of cannabinoids. Terpenes are the compounds that give plants their unique scents/flavors, but also have health benefits and contribute to the entourage effect.

The entourage effect is a phenomenon where multiple compounds (cannabinoids, terpenes, etc) interact synergistically and produce stronger effects than products with fewer compounds present.

While the carts may sound simple, they took a lot of trial and error to get right. This is due to the fact that having too higher a concentration of terpenes can make the vape harsh on the throat.

The terpenes also play an important role in diluting the distillate so that it is suitable for vaping. And for optimal results, we found the dilution needs to be 10% terpenes and 90% distillate.

However, the levels of terpenes naturally produced in the cannabis plant are normally no more than 5%, and we found 10% terpenes to be a bit harsh.

To overcome this we diluted with 5% flavourless terpenes, and then 5% standard terpenes. This allowed a perfect balance between usability and smooth vaping. While offering a terpene concentration that is closer to nature.

The terpenes themselves are inspired by real cannabis strains. The Balance Cart contains terpene ratios similar to the ‘Tangerine Dream’ cannabis strain, the Tranquil Cart similar to the ‘Grandaddy Purple’ strain and the Elevate Cart similar to the ‘Pineapple Express’ strain.

Pros and Cons Of Vaping CBD

Vape products are actually something we resisted supplying for a while. This is because the only thing that should really be inhaled through our lungs is air. Vaping is probably the least healthy of our products.

However, we also understand that for people who smoke, vaping can be a much healthier option. And in some cases, the pros of vaping can outweigh the cons.

Vaping offers fast-acting and strong effects due to its high bioavailability, the fastest onset of all our products. This makes it a useful tool for people who need instant results. It is also arguably more convenient than other products such as CBD Oil .

We have taken great care to provide products that are a safe as can be, but still only recommend vaping as and when needed. Over vaping any substance can lead to irritation of the throat.

We hope this article has cleared up any doubts you may have, if you want to try any of our vape products, our launch sale ends this Thursday. Use code: LAUNCH25 at checkout to save 25%
