Why do you not send your CBD oil in a box like most other companies?
Reducing our environmental impact is very important to us so we reduce waste to the absolute minimum. We will only send you the bottle with a small label tag tied onto it with hemp string. We only have one planet, it's up to us to look after it!
What is CBD?
CBD, otherwise known as Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring chemical which is found in the Cannabis plant. Its vast range of potential health benefits have lead to it becoming a major subject of research in recent years. Interestingly, CBD has a very similar chemical structure to anandamide, which is a cannabinoid produced naturally within the human body.
Is CBD legal in the UK?
Yes, as long as CBD is sold as a food supplement, no medical claims are made, and products contain less than 0.2% THC then CBD is legal to buy and sell in the UK.
Does CBD get you high?
No, unlike THC, CBD is non psychoactive which means it will not get you high. The levels of THC (under 0.2%) present in BROWN'S CBD oil are also far too low to have a psychoactive effect.

Why is whole plant or full spectrum CBD better than CBD isolate?
Whole pant or full spectrum CBD allows the user to benefit from the 'entourage effect', which is when multiple active ingredients work in synergy to create a more powerful effect. Whole plant or full spectrum CBD contains trace elements of THC, CBDV, CBG, CBC, CBDA and terpenoids. CBD isolate is just pure CBD.
What is CO2 extraction?
CO2 extraction uses pressurised carbon dioxide to extract CBD and other phytochemicals from the plant. It requires highly expensive machinery and is the cleanest and most effective way to extract CBD. All of our oils are produced using custom-built CO2 extraction equipment specifically designed be our scientists for optimum purity and potency.
How many milligrams of CBD is there per drop of BROWN'S CBD oil?
5% (500mg) = 2.5 mg per drop
10% (1000mg) = 5 mg per drop
15% (1500mg) = 7.5 mg per drop
20% (2000mg) = 10 mg per drop
25% (2500mg) = 12.5 mg per drop

How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD oil?
If the CBD oil is taken sublingually (held under the tongue before swallowing), it should take no longer than 30 minutes to feel the effects. If the oil is swallowed directly or mixed with food or drink, it could take up to two hours.
How is golden CBD oil different to other CBD oils?
Golden CBD oil goes through a process called decarboxylation, which is where it is heated to activate all of the inactive chemicals. It is then filtered to remove unwanted plant matter which gives it a smoother taste.
What is the difference between Hemp & Cannabis?
Whilst very different in terms of genetic profile, Hemp & Cannabis both belong to the Cannabis Sativa species and are in fact the same plant. Hemp tends to have high levels of CBD and low levels of THC, whilst what most people know as Cannabis tends to have high levels of THC and low levels of CBD.
